Thank you parents and care givers for ensuring your child had a good night's sleep and healthy breakfast on our M-Step days! Not to mention making sure iPads were fully charged. It is such a privilege to teach children whose education is fully supported at home too.
During reading, we spent time thinking about why authors make the choices they make when it comes to characters, plot, problems, and resolutions. How are each of those things related to each other? We even had some spirited debates about the characters in our books. Which one would make a better friend? Who is a better problem solver? Your child must have all unit 6 Schoology work completed in math by Tuesday of next week. There should minimally be 1-2 tasks that can be completed at home on the iPad over the weekend. Feel free to contact me with questions. We hope you enjoyed our Zoo Exhibits last week. The students worked so very hard on these projects. It is so meaningful for kids to see how the different subjects come together in a project like this. Hopefully you were as impressed as I was! Lastly, thank you, thank you, THANK YOU for spoiling our staff during this national Teacher Appreciation Week. We've had more than one visitor to our building this week who has commented on how impressively our community appreciates us. As if spending my days with your amazing kiddos weren't thanks enough...... Some important dates:
