Math time was spent on subtracting across zeros and doing so in a variety of ways.
In social studies we are continuing to learn about Michigan's history. We got to play some cool Native American games this week thanks to the Tri-Cities Historical Museum. They loaned us an awesome kit to use!
We have LOTS of new apps on our iPads. One of them is called "Epic!" and it has some great books available for kids. And best of all, it's FREE!!! I would encourage you to let your child share it with you this weekend.
A special thanks to all those parents and other volunteers who helped make our Valentine's Day celebration successful.
Information went home least week about an upcoming field trip. I have room for one more chaperon only. If you're interested in joining us, it's on February 25th from 9:05 - 12:20. First one to respond is the winner!!!
